Cancellation Notice – WEEE Public Collection Events
March 16, 2020
In the interest of public health and safety and in light of ongoing advice from the government on measures to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus, WEEE Ireland has taken the decision to postpone until further notice the following free public collection days scheduled to take place in Kildare over the coming weeks:
Sat 21st March – Tesco Car Park, Maynooth
Sat 28th March – Tesco Car Park, Celbridge
Sat 4th April – McKenna’s Hardware Car Park, Dublin Road, Clane
WEEE Ireland is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and heeding all advice from the National Public Health Emergency Team, the HSE and the WHO. The health and safety of the Irish public and the WEEE Ireland staff and Kildare County Council who support the free collection days is of utmost priority to WEEE Ireland. As a result, this decision has been taken as a precaution to help to support the national effort and limit the spread of Covid-19.
As the situation is evolving rapidly, WEEE Ireland will continue to monitor developments on a daily basis and issue further updates as necessary.
