Recycling your used batteries properly is as simple as bagging them up and taking them on your next shopping or recycling trip! Simply drop them off for FREE recycling wherever you see WEEE Ireland Blue Battery Boxes, at your local supermarket, newsagent and wherever you buy your batteries.
You can also avail of FREE battery recycling at your nearest Local Authority Recycling Centre, participating retailer or at one of our Free Public Electrical & Battery Recycling Events. See our map and event list below for more details.
WEEE Ireland does not operate portable battery or WEEE recycling in the follow areas: Kerry, Clare, Monaghan, Cavan, Louth, Meath and Fingal County Council area. For information on WEEE and Battery Recycling in these areas please see mywaste.ie »
