Repak Resource Awards 2025
The inaugural Repak Resource Awards are now open for entries!
Replacing the long-running Pakman Awards, this reimagined initiative will celebrate not only Irelands’ recycling and waste management leaders, but also innovation in circular design and thinking, responsible resource use, and grassroots environmental action.
WEEE Ireland is proud to announce our sponsorship of the Battery and WEEE Champion Category – a category that rewards a business (retail or non)/community organisation/school or individual or initiatives that demonstrate the extra steps taken to increase waste battery and electrical take-back for recycling, and increased awareness of the need to recycle e-waste.
Entry is made online as follows:
- Visit the Repak Resource Awards website and select your desired category.
- Complete the online entry form with your details and provide a compelling submission highlighting your achievements and impact.
- Submit your entry before the deadline of 29th August 2025.
Entry is free and could not be easier, with sample entry form templates available to download, in addition to examples from previous years category winners. By entering you have the opportunity to highlight your organisations environmental achievements to a national audience with the potential of winning a national environmental award for your endeavours.
Closing date for entries is 29 August 2025, and finalists in each category will be notified in September. The 12 category winners will be announced at the inaugural Repak Resource Awards ceremony, on 23 October 2025 in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
