Aldi and Recycle IT Crowned Champions at the 2023 Pakman Awards

The Pakman Awards took place on 26th October in Dublin with awards to celebrate environmental champions who are shaping Ireland’s future. As Ireland’s leading National Environmental Awards, they seek to recognise excellence in sustainability, recycling, and efforts to reduce climate change as we move towards a more circular economy.
WEEE Ireland is proud to have continued sponsorship of The Battery & WEEE Champion Category, as the event entered its ninth year. This category rewards a business (retail or non)/community organisation/school or individual or initiatives that can demonstrate the extra steps they’ve taken to increase waste battery and/or electrical take-back for recycling and increase awareness of the need to recycle these waste streams.
