Calling All Battery & WEEE Recycling Champions!
The Pakman Awards have launched their 2023 search to find the environmental champions who are shaping Ireland’s future. As Ireland’s leading National Environmental Awards, they seek to recognise excellence in sustainability, recycling, and efforts to reduce climate change as we move towards a more circular economy.
The Awards are divided into 11 categories included newly added ESG Leader, Community Recycling Initiatives, Innovations in Waste Resource Products or Services, Business Recycling Champion and Waste Prevention and Overall Pakman Award.
WEEE Ireland is proud to announce our continued sponsorship of The Battery & WEEE Champion Category, as the event enters its ninth year. This category rewards a business (retail or non)/community organisation/school or individual or initiatives that can demonstrate the extra steps they’ve taken to increase waste battery and/or electrical take-back for recycling and increase awareness of the need to recycle these waste streams.
