WEEE Ireland and The PAKman Awards 2019

The Pakman Awards have launched their 2019 search to find the environmental champions who are shaping Ireland’s future.
Research released for the launch of the awards revealed Ireland’s attitudes to sustainability efforts of organisations, with a whopping 96% of those polled confirming that they would be more inclined to shop or engage with a company who had been rewarded for tackling climate change.
The Pakman Awards recognises excellence in sustainability, recycling and efforts to reduce climate change as we move towards a more circular economy. Organisations, businesses, community groups and individuals in Ireland are all eligible to enter.
WEEE Ireland is proud to sponsor The WEEE Champion Category at the awards for a fifth year running. This award is open to businesses, community groups, schools or individuals that can demonstrate the extra steps they have taken to increase electrical take-back for recycling and increase awareness of the need to recycle this waste stream.
Entering the 2019 Pakman Awards is free, with nominations closing at midnight on 31st August 2019.
