- registration of producers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment
- notifying the EPA where there is evidence of non compliance with the Regulations
- verification of visible Environmental Management Costs (vEMC)
- determination of the market share of individual producers
National Spring Clean a successful anti-litter initiative in Ireland. The campaign encourages every sector of society to actively participate and take responsibility for litter, by actually conducting clean-ups in their own local environment. National Spring Clean traditionally takes place throughout the month of April.
BAN (Basel Action Network) focuses on confronting the global environmental injustice and economic inefficiency of toxic trade (toxic wastes, products and technologies) and its devastating impacts. They actively promote the sustainable and just solutions to our consumption and waste crises - banning waste trade, while promoting green, toxic free and democratic design of consumer products .
