Free Electrical Recycling DayPublic Collection Day Events

  • In partnership with Local Authorities and community groups public collection day events are designed to facilitate the collection of WEEE and waste batteries from areas which do not have convenient access to civic amenity sites, as well as raise awareness of free electrical and battery recycling.
  • WEEE Ireland holds two types of collection events:
    • Saturday Collection events take place at one location from 10am to 4pm, usually large towns or villages.
    • WEEE Wagon Days take place on either a Tuesday or Thursday in small towns or villages. Two events in two locations; one event in the morning and another event in the afternoon (events take place for approximately 3 hours in each location).
  • New WEEE recycling trolleys are available to community groups/schools/offices and businesses. For more information on WEEE recycling trolleys contact WEEE Ireland on Lo-Call 1890 253 252.
