WEEE Ireland is run by a small but very professional and efficient management team.

Leo Donovan

CEO

A former Managing Director of one of Irelands leading recycling companies, Leo has been involved in electronic recycling since 1992 and is responsible for the setting up and running of WEEE Ireland.

 

Eddie Seery

Finance Manager

Eddie is in charge of all financial issues; his responsibility is to ensure that the scheme is well financed and that members pay their market share of EMCs.

 

Laurence Kieran

Operations Manager

Laurence looks after our subcontracts to ensure that WEEE Ireland secures the best collection and recycling services at the best prices. Laurence has carried out extensive reviews of the best technologies and services available in Europe.

 

Conor Leonard

Collections Manager

Conor has been responsible for the very successful roll-out of collections directly from retailers. Conor is also responsible for the pilot collection innovative solutions.

 

Elizabeth O'Reilly

Compliance Manager

Elizabeth looks after our growing membership base, providing detailed information to producers/distributors on their obligations under the scheme.

 

Martin Hickey

Compliance Auditor

Martin audits producer members to ensure compliance with WEEE and battery legislation. He also provides information and support services to members.

 

Sandra Hopkins

Compliance Executive

Sandra is responsible for working closely with members to help them stay up-to-date and aware of their legislative and membership obligations. She is available to meet and advise WEEE Ireland members with any compliance, reporting or membership queries.

 

Christine Meehan

Marketing and Collections Executive

Christine is responsible for organising and promoting WEEE Ireland's public collection events across the country, as well as informing the public about electrical and battery recycling through the media and our websites.
